For years, the musical world has enjoyed the exciting musical visions of a generation of Finnish conductors and pianists, and now, from the Land of Sibelius comes a new sound to rock the musical work.META4 is comprised of four young Finnish musicians won have already taken Europe by storm, winning First Prize in the International Shostakovich competition in Moscow and the 3rd International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna. Given their impressive start, what could be more appropriate for their debut CD than the music of Haydn?
    In addition to their critically acclaimed performances of the standard quartet literature, META4 is renowned for their creative programming and collaborations with other artists, regularly crossing boundaries between classical, jazz, pop and dance.
    This CD have been honored with the ldquo;Deutsche Schalplattenkritik Awardrdquo; 2009 and ECHO Klassik Award 2010 for quot;Newcomer of the Yearquot;.
