Maestro Helmuth Rilling presents a program of sweeping German Romanticism – inspired by the works of Goethe and represented by the immortal “Altro Rhapsody” of Brahms, Schubert’s “Gesang der Geister über den Wasser” and concluding with an excerpt from the Brahms rarity, “Rinaldo.” Rilling and his Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart is joined by the world-class talents of Alto Lioba Braun and Tenor Carsten Süss in performances that unquestionable establish Rilling as the preeminent interpreter of the Germanic Choral tradition.
