In time for the Haydn Year in 2009, Helmuth Rilling has now completed his recordings of the six late Haydn Masses. Each performance draws together different singers and orchestras who Rilling has worked with for many years - equally dividing the musical responsibilities between the Oregon Bach Festival and the Bach Collegium Stuttgart. The result - a truly international and truly modern edition of some of the greatest choral works of the Classical period.
